Feedspot feature – Top Schizophrenia Podcasts

The show has been featured on a Feedspot analysis of the Top Schizophrenia podcasts to listen to in 2021.
https://blog.feedspot.com/schizophrenia_podcasts/
According to their site:
“Feedspot has a team of over 25 experts whose goal is to discover and rank popular blogs, podcasts and youtube channels in several niche categories. With millions of blogs on the web, finding influential bloggers in a niche industry is a hard problem to address. Our experience leads us to believe that a thoughtful combination of both algorithmic and human editing offers the best means of curation.”

This is a good endorsement and I am encouraged to continue making episodes. Let’s see if we can break down some walls. 🙂

Transcriptions – Help me!

iwasme.co.uk has a new feature – Transcriptions.

At the minute they are about 85% accurate and would be wonderful if anyone would like to help get these up to 100% accuracy. It is possible to edit them freely.

An excellent feature is the ability to search through all the transcripts. Useful for those wishing to find the episode with a keyword search.

Video and Youtube

It seems that the natural progression of making on-location interviews, is to get video footage. I will make this the next step.

I have created a new channel on youtube for this content.

I also would like to interview people affected by those with schizophrenia, such as professionals and caregivers.

This is an exciting time for iwasme.co.uk!

On location interviews and carers

I would like to do some interviews in health care settings – on location. This would allow me to integrate with the local MH community.

I could take the opportunity to take a photo of my subject as a companion to the interview.

I was also thinking I could interview the carers of people with schizophrenia. Perhaps it would be interesting to get their perspective.

Finally, thank you for all my interviewees who have taken part so far. I really do think they have been brave.
